I have finished our taxes, with the help of turbo tax I am not sure if I mail in the 1099 forms with my taxes. The IRS gets this info from the banks and brokers. Does anyone know if I should mail them?

Your report the 1099 income, but don't mail them in. Only W-2's.

You don't even need to mail in the W2s, if you file your taxes online and through turbo-tax; I think it's free for the federal ones with all versions of TT. YOu get your tax credit back a LOT faster if you do that.

Yes, briegull, you are right if you file on-line. I assumed she was mailing in her return. I filed my federal and state through turbotax on line and got refunds within 5 days deposited into my checking account.
