The hospice director came by this morning to pick up some equipment and we got to talking.
I said I was so glad Claude never had the temper and rages that some of y'all are going thru with your LO. As we talked further, I mentioned if since Claude had a very laid back, quiet personality, that contributed to his lack of temper/rages.
Are Type A personalities more prone to having them or was I just lucky?
redbud, I guess that each case/diagnosed LO is different. I know FIL who was a go getter upper managment was in my opinion mellow thru out most of his journey, of course there were times when he would have an off moment but honestly he was a gem. No real anger issues, but like I said moments such as at times when he fell he would refuse to get up. Once he took down the Drapes in the middle of the night. Once getting into the car, he wouldn't get in and my MIL and step-son had a heck of a time getting him in. That was the kind of anger (if you want to call it that) issues. I Pray that Dh will be like FIL, I can handle that! So far Dh has been a gem as well. Now he will speak up if he thinks I am wrong (like that's new) example- one time he took a blow torch to my new freezer to un-stick a baggy. I was pisssssssssssssed, and explained to him that a blowdryer or even a hot rag would have done the job! To him I was completely wrong and he was mad that I was mad. Oh Well! Dh personality type was pretty much laid back, successful business owner, actually owned two successful businesses. So to categorize either of them as a Type A that would be a maybe is some respects but not in others. Geeeeeee, I was a ton of help wasn't I ? Rk
I think Sunshyne has some information that says it doesn't have anything to do with their personality but what part of their brain is affected. She can clarify that for you.
