She was without insurance for about a year as she was in school (after quitting a job with insurance) and didn't listen to me about how important is was to keep coverage up. Now due to this pre-existing condition she hasn't been able to find personal coverage. She can't afford the coverage you can get from the state if you are denied insurance, it costs about as much as a COBRA plan. She works for a one man law office and he will give her $200 a month toward a personal policy but does not offer employee insurance as she is the only other full-time employee.
I am still laughing about tucking your dress into the "bloomers". I remember it well. No decent girl wore pants in the olden days. The first time I saw anybody do gymnastics was when a little girl, who took dance lessons, performed at school. I was so amazed that I tryed doing some of the stuff at home. The dress was tucked in and pinned. I did learn to do the cartwheels, the back bends and a lot of the other things I saw her do. I could even do a backbend and eat an apple on the ground. None of my sisters could do it. Then my youngest child was quite a good gymnast and excelled in ballet. Her older sister tried so hard but was not flexible enough.Memories, memories, memories....Seems like that's all I have left.
