My goodness, thank you. I didn't realize the side changes would be so noticeable. I am working on getting them more organized, but it's a very time consuming job, so I will probably let the new geek (when I get him/her) tackle that one, while I work on other design changes.

I am going to have someone organize the "previous blogs" into years, months, and days. 350 blogs would take me the rest of my life to do, but an expert can do it in a day or two. Also, when the ad links on all of the previous blogs are updated, those blogs will load in a flash.

and!....I'm intrigued. Would you believe I have never tasted Indian cuisine..and wouldn't know what to order if I sat down in an Indian restaurant if there were no pictures on the menu. The little ad on the right side has been clicked on, scoped, and played with for over 10 minutes. Is there a story there?

Joan, The website is looking better and better. I have a suggestion--would it save you time to leave the images out of your blogs? I really enjoy the content so much, it would be just as meaningful without the pictures. Just a thought, since all your work is so time consuming and it must take a while to find the right images.

    I agree.

On one of the threads you mentioned your Neiman Marcus account. How I miss that store! In the old days when DH was working in D.C. I would tag along on holidays and go to Neiman's in the MD suburbs or Northern VA. Loved everything about that store--the merchandise, lunch in the restaurant, the catalogs. I'm not an Internet shopper, although I do still check out their website. One trip to Dallas we went to the original store (downtown)--what fun.

Can you remember how good it smelled when you walked in. mmmmm. They have a great catalog. You should go to their website and get on the mailing list. Their sales are incredible. 70% and more off!
  8.
When you say mailing list, you mean they email you about sales, or do they send something by regular mail? You got my attention with the 70 percent off. I'm a bargain shopper--my taste always has exceeded my budget!
  9.
I have an account there, so they send catalogs...but if you will go to www.neimanmarcus.com, and click on Assistance....there should be a place where you can request a catalog. One order and you're in the system.

I have begged, pleaded and stolen catalogs (well, not really stolen). Apparently, they won't send them unless you are currently spending money in their stores. I received the catalogs for years when I had access to the stores (there are none in Baltimore--we don't have good shopping here, really). I just have to salivate over the website, but it's not the same.

Email me with your address and I'll send some to you! :-)
