    "The "forgettting disease" that robs the mind,
    Everforgetful of ties that bind."

    "Hearts are shattered,
    And bodies are broken,
    We try not to notice, no words are spoken."

    "Memories are vague,
    our lives are lost,
    We must move forward,
    At a very precious cost."

    "The prayers we ask are always the same,
    for each of us holds a loved one's name."

    "When the time draws near,
    and we must let go,
    We pray our loved ones have no fear."

    "Many will be called before our own,
    Our loves goes with them on their journey back home.."

    Thank you, Divvi. Why is it that now that winter's ENDING, the days are brighter, we should be getting more cheerful - we're all down, even if our spouses are sitting right there in front of us.

    Oh Divvi...that is so touching and unfortunately perfect for us. Does it help you to write and express your feelings? I have recently bought a tape recorder, and just talk into it whenever I feel like it...always when I'm alone, in car,etc... It seems to help me through this crazy maze. Someday I'll play it back.
    Thanks for those words.

    The words to your poem are just perfect, Divvi. They truly express my feelings. I've been at this site since last July and I just can't believe how many LOs have left us.

    This is such a safe place and we do get attached to each other. I come here sometimes 2-3 times a day. Depending:)

    Thanks, again, for your lovely poem.

    My wife and I were on a drive this weekend, listening to music of Simon & Garfunkel. I was struck by these lyrics:

    April come she will
    When streams are ripe and swelled with rain;
    May, she will stay,
    Resting in my arms again.

    June, she'll change her tune,
    In restless walks she'll prowl the night;
    July she will fly
    And give no warning to her flight.

    August, die she must,
    The autumn winds blow chilly and cold;
    September I'll remember.
    A love once new has now grown old.

    Beautiful......
  5.
    There once was a heroine named divvi
    who spent most her day in a privy
    She would wash and scoop
    Mounds and mounds of poop
    And write poetry on a skivie
