    Senate Passed NIH Amendment

    At 10:00pm last night (2/3), the US Senate passed an amendment to raise National Institutes of Health (NIH) funding by $10 billion.

    This investment would support more research on Alzheimer’s and other diseases.

    The amendment's passage does not guarantee that the NIH funding will be in the final Economic Recovery Act (Senate Bill 1), but we are a step closer.

    No further action is needed at this time.
