I found information about this search engine on the FTD Support website. You can chose the charity of your choice.

GoodSearch is an online search engine powered by Yahoo! that donates one penny to your charity of choice each time you use their service to search for something on the web (it works similar to Google). By going to the GoodSearch.com website and registering the Alzheimers Association or for those whose loved ones have FTD, The Association for Frontotemporal Dementias (AFTD) as the charity of your choice, one penny will be donated to your charity each time you use GoodSearch to find what you're looking for. Just imagine, if 1,000 people designate the Alzheimers Association or AFTD as their charity and search twice a day for a year, they will earn $7,300 which will go toward more programs and research for families coping with Alzheimers or FTD! Go to the www.GoodSearch.com website now to register, and then tell all of your friends and family to do the same!

    Deb,

Good for you for finding GoodSearch. I've not heard of it, but will certainly start using it. Let's spread the word.

    deb,
Very interesting, great info. Maybe you could hit edit & rename your topic. Something like Free & easy way to donate to AD. Maybe Joan has some ideas.

Would this website be eligible to benefit from Goodsearch searches?

Non-profit charities and schools are eligible according to the website. They have a listing of the participating charities.
