I have searched for about 30 minutes and can't locate the website that sells the privacy skirts you can use for men in the shower. My DH DOES NOT want to take off his shorts or depends if his life depends on it. I thought I would give these a try. Can someone help me locate this. I already searched the link for the Alz. store on this website, but could not find them
    Thanks,
    Alice

Here it is. It took me over 30 minutes to find this, and I thought I had it bookmarked. There is a link on this page for women's clothing as well.

I have no idea what you're talking about. Is this it?

    http://www.megamedics.com/privacy-skirt-for-22-pvc-shower-commode-chair-item-243-818-p.html?utm_source=froogle

    Also available from TopMedicalSupply.com

Bunch of places sell chairs that either come with the skirt, or for which the skirt is optional, let me know if I'm on the right track but you want more options.

....But is there a reason why your husband can't just shower in his shorts? And then change to a fresh, dry pair once he's done?

    Alice,

On the home page - www.thealzheimerspouse.com- on the right side, there is the Alzheimer Store. Click on that. They have them.

Sunshyne's idea of showering in his shorts seems easy and reasonable. And cheaper. Or his bathing trunks.

Thank you sooo much for your help. Starling I appreciate the time you took to help me find them. I might just give them a try.
I do not mind the idea of the showering with shorts on and removing them when dry, but that still leaves the problem of getting them off to put on dry ones and wet might be worse. I have never seen someone so attached to his shorts. He curses up a storm when I finally just pull them off after trying to reason with him (useless I know!). I did get the idea to just rip the depends at the seams from this website and that is a big help even tho I get cursed for this. I am now the one that showers him at the home as I do not want him to get too agitated with the staff. So far, he is only verbally abusive about it . This is from the guy that was so worried about getting mean when he found out he had ALZ. I guess he had heard stories about that.
He sometimes gives the staff a hard time about even wearing a shirt. I guess this behavior is "normal". I finally convinced them that if he does not want to wear his shoes to just leave him alone. It is Florida after all.
