Hope this isn't duplicate info, but the magazine I get relating to my handicap had a section with resource info and it included the following, relating to finding legal help. Their focus comes from special needs, but evidently elder lawyers do special needs too.
American Bar Association www.abanet.org Consumer guide to free legal help (by state), including federally funded and pro bono programs.
LawHelp.org Find free legal aid programs.
National Academy of Elder-Law Attorneys (520) 881-4005 www.naela.org Searchable state directory for attorneys specializing in disability issues.
I Googled the last one, and you can enter your city and state, distance, and it will give a list of elder law attorneys and will provide designation of Certified if they have it.
Alzheimer's Association for state you're in is a good source. I received a resource guide for my district within the state (IN) which gives legal, home care, insurance, etc. listings.
Area Agency on Aging, which also has local councils. This is included in above reference, too.
