Flo - you might consider trading in your truck & 5th wheel for a small Class C MH. We have a couple in their mid 80s that bought one last year - their first RV. They live here in town, park it here at the park. They come spend the day in it or will take it out for the day or overnight. They are so cute!

Think I may be the only one on here with such a difference in my age and the age of my husband.

dh is 64 and I am 77. He is an older looking 64 and I am told I am a much younger looking 77. I don't feel that way...that is why I am getting so stressed and tried of this after almost 5 years.

I will be 70 in Dec. & hubby is 76 - he was diagnosed about a year & half ago, but I now realize this has been coming on for a few years.

welcome Mim to this group. its a huge support for us spouses who have special needs so to speak caring for our loved ones. lots of info on previous topics and know you are among new best friends.
  6.
A big welcome to you, Mim. So sorry you need to be here - but it's the best place to be for anyone walking in our shoes. We are always here for you.

Since my husband always tells everyone he is 39, I suppose I should join him and be 39 too. He doesn't know how old he is but can remember his birthdate, 2-8-29. That makes him 39, doesn't it?

You can move me from the 50s group to the 60s group on Saturday the 26th. And my parents said I would never make it past 16 that year.

Ok, ok. Move me to the 50s group. Sigh. I wouldn't mind staying with the 40s people mind, but honesty prevails.

May I be one of the first to officially welcome you to the 50's Emily. . It's really not a bad place to be at all. . Most of the time, anyway. "Lost in the fifties". . I think it was a great song. .
  12.
Thanks Sundown. I expect it to be better than the mystifying murk my 40s turned out to be, what with slow diagnosis and the "acceptance process" and all that. Go 50s!

Any woman who would tell her age or her wt will tell anything..be careful ladies. My advice it to say you are way older than what you are..that way people will say..my gosh you look so young, what is your secret!
    Oh I am 102 I beat Georgieboy...hahaha
  14.
I am not sure if I have done this yet. I really do not think so by the date above. I am doing it now because I am 51 next month 52. DH is 61.

I'm 72 DW is 70 but will not make it to 71 Hospice says days maybe two weeks at most
  17.
marty-I'm sorry. Not so much for Sue's passing as for all the misery you both had to share.
  18.
Three days ago I turned 92.

I think we have to realize that the ages on this site are greatly
influenced by whether a care-giver uses a computer or not.
Very few really old people are computer wise. You can't teach
    an old dog new tricks.............GeorgieBoy
