General: Razadyne ER going generic?

    A while ago I was looking into Razadyne ER and someone said that it was going generic at the end of the year. Is this going to be reality? Where should I go to look up such valuable information?

    Perhaps someone else will know more. I would suggest checking with a local pharmacist. I bet they will either know or can easily find out exactly when it will become available.

    This is the FDA website for generic drug approvals monthly. The September approvals are not listed yet although I saw that the FDA approved Barr Laboratories to make the generic equivalent.

    The news release is up on the Barr Labs web site, but they don't mention how soon it will hit the stores. The news I'd seen earlier said December.
