We have Netflix and in general my husband doesn't watch much of what I get (of course objects if I try to watch something alone). I got a Jaques Tati film, Mon Oncle, made in 1958, which we had enjoyed many years ago. He loved it all over again, and so did I. I have the other ones on order. These are almost non-speaking (though there are subtitles) so there's no trouble understanding what people are saying, it's mostly visual.

My husband likes the old 50's and 60's Tony Curtis,Frank Sinatra,Rat Pack sort of things,I guess they are where his mind set is now, back in that day. Now if he would let me watch Gidget movies all day I would have fun.
We are still watching regular movies, but I have wondered about these --
(1) The Black Stallion (at least, the first half). There is almost no dialogue, some very beautiful scenery. First half, no dialogue. Second half, very ordinary movie.
(2) "The Red Balloon." In French, but again either no dialogue at all, or very little. The French title is "Le Ballon Rouge."
(3) "Greyfriars Bobby." Basic but charming movie, Disney I think. Dog whose owner dies, dog won't leave the cemetery where owner is buried.
(4) "Station Jim." Abandoned dog adopted by English railway station.
