Joan, you didn't tell us the diagnosis and medication recommended for your computer. I know you are back on blogging so, is it well now, or did it just get a bandaid for the time being? <grin> Here's hoping for a complete and speedy recovery!
I am ashamed to admit that I chickened out on the night we were supposed to label and dismantle the thing. It was 9:30 at night. I was exhausted, and Sid is not at his best (to say the least) at night. I ordered more RAM, which I am hoping will arrive today, and then we will take it in tomorrow for its diagnostic testing. I figured while the computer doc was fixing it, he could install the RAM.
It is obviously working well enough for me to work on the website, but it has some major internal injuries, which need attention!
Here is the latest update. Yes, I was a very bad girl, and did not take the computer in when I said I was going to, so it went in this morning. It is now almost 3 o'clock in the afternoon, and no news since noontime. It does not look like I am going to have it back for tonight. If my son in California, who has the web design software, has time, he will post a blog for me. If not, I will just keep writing information on the message boards, using Sid's laptop, until my computer is cured.
