JOAN'S BLOG - FRIDAY THE 13TH, 2008 - THE MEMORY WALK AWARDS BREAKFAST

WE WON! THANKS TO ALL OF YOU WHO SPONSORED ME FOR THE MEMORY WALK. YOU HELPED OUR TEAM - THE SUPPORT GROUPIES - RAISE THE MOST MONEY OUT OF 56 TEAMS!  We raised over $13,000. The Treasure Coast Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association raised more than $100,000 for research and programs. Of course, it is not about who raises the most money – We just have a “friendly rivalry” going to motivate and encourage people to get involved. But it was fun to win! Below is a picture of those of us from our team who were able to attend the breakfast. I’m the blonde in the green blouse in the front. Sid is the guy in the blue shirt behind me with his hand on my shoulder.
