JOAN’S WEEKEND BLOG – JUNE 6/7, 2009 – DOWN TIME FOR YOU!

Spousal caregivers do not get much “down time” – a few hours or a day to do something just for themselves. It takes money and planning to hire someone to stay with your spouse just so you can get out of the house to sit on a park bench; get a hair cut; go fishing with friends; play a round of golf; get a manicure; lunch with a friend. But many of you DO have some quiet time to spend on the computer, as evidenced by all of the reading and writing you do on the website. So I decided to round up a little computer fun for you this weekend. Take time out from Alzheimer related articles and videos, and try these for plain old smiles - games and videos for your very own “down time”.  You deserve it. Some of these have been posted before.
